Holy, Holy, Holy!

Isaiah 6:1-3 KJV

In the year that King Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. 2.Above it stood the seraphim’s: each one had six wings; with twain (two) he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. 3. And one cried unto another, and said Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord of host: the whole earth is full of his glory.

When You’re Down, the Lord Can Lift You Up

People disappoint and misuse us all the time.  Sooner or later, family members, friends, spouses, and even our brothers and sisters in Christ will let us down. But, people who are daily led by the Spirit of God are less likely to cause unnecessary pain to others.

It’s good to know that we can cry out to God when others cause us pain.  2 Chronicles 20:12 (KJV) says: “O our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee.” Because God is a just and loving God, He takes care of us at all times, even when we are hurt.

Are You Hurt? Then Look to God.

Isaiah was hurting.  He experienced the death of King Uzziah.  When you are hurting and disappointed don’t ever give up on God.  Follow Isaiah’s example. Look up and see the Lord God, High and lifted up in all His majesty and glory.  Keep your eyes on God who is sitting on his throne controlling everything.  God’s throne sits above all principalities.  Keep looking up to the One Who can help you; your help comes from the Lord Who is the ultimate source of all help.

Look to God Because He Has All Power, and Is Holy

God is both judge and jury.  He is holy, just like the seraphim declared to each other in His presence. In God’s presence, the angels covered their faces and feet, not leaving any part exposed.  They flew declaring and repeating the word “holy.” Because He is holy, God’s presence always has joy and peace, and His judgements are always fair.

As believers we what to invoke the presence of God in our homes and at our place of employment.  This is called flowing in the spirit.  The position of being high and lifted up makes God omnipresent and omniscient (all knowing and ever present in our present, past and future).  No body can defeat God.  He knows the steps and has the plan and means to bring about our victory.  He is HOLY ya’ll!  He has provided us a comforter, the Holy Ghost.  Pray in your heavenly language, ask the Holy Ghost to help you, when you don’t know what to pray for.  The Holy Ghost will lead you into all truth in every situation. The Lord wants us to cast our cares upon Him.  God only allow things to happen that we can bear.  He has equiped us with everything needed to be victorious in every situation because he is Holy and all powerful.

When You Mess-Up, ‘Fess-Up

When you mess-up and feel like giving up, confess it and move on.  God is Holy, so he sees and knows all your righteous and unrighteous deeds.  Remember, God is the Alpha and the Omega. He exists from everlasting to everlasting.  When God sends his joy forth, everything that is touched gets bigger and better.  Remember God is Holy.

Psalms 24: 3-4 (KJV) says: “Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place? 4. He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.”  So, when situations don’t go your way remember it’s all about Jesus Christ.  It’s all about the Lord. Take inventory before you go into God’s presence.  Confess all your mess, and be prepared for His forgiveness. Be determined to let the Holy Spirit live the life of Christ in you. Be holy, because God is Holy.

Let go and let God. Let go and let God. Let go and let God use you.
