1. THE HAND of the Lord was upon me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. 2.He led be back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry. 3. He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” I said, “O Sovereign LORD, you alone know”. 4. Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them. “Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! 5. This is what the Sovereign LORD says to these bones. I will make breath enter you and you will come to life. 6. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the LORD”. 7. So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone. 8. I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them. 9. Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy ,son of man, and say to it. This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe into these slain, that they may live. 10. So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army.
Don’t Let Dry Bones Spook U!
Very often as Christians we also go through a season that look dry as a valley of bones that Ezekiel is referring to. There is a method to the process and only the LORD knows why we endure what seems impossible. God is preparing us for greater. When we are led by the Hand of GOD one thing will happen: VICTORY. When the way seems impossible, that’s when GOD is doing what He does best. When God tells you to speak to your situation, do just what he says. When Ezekiel prophesied according to what The Sovereign LORD said, things began to happen.
The presence of the LORD allows us to have authority in places that are dead. Before a seed can bring forth it’s fruit, it must first die to produce a plant that will eventually grow and produce much fruit. This is a hard to concept for our “now” generation because we want instant gratification. Microwave blessings. So many of our youth know little to nothing about pressing through with GOD’s direction. Those of us who have lived a little and have a history of break throughs can testify: God’s track record is flawless. Oh, maginfy the LORD with me! His praise shall continually be in my mouth to give him all the glory and all the honor.
Do you believe that GOD is able to resurrect your dry situation? Are you going to obey the voice of the LORD even when the voice of your enemy, (Satan), and even when your own thoughts speak louder? Obedience leads to victory and not condemnation. My prayer today is LORD breath on my situation. Surrender and give GOD full control to breathe on your marriage, your career choices, your finances, your family and all that is within you. Resurrect and restore as only you can.
