Hold on to Your Seats, We’re About to Take Off!

Greetings and salutations my name is Joyner Lights,

My new website “JSL” (http://www.jsl.me), launched a week ago today. The name of the business that powers this blog is JSL 7of7, which is my new fashion design company. JSL stands for my name: Joyner Scriven Lights. The 7of7 part represents my position within my family: I am the 7th of 7 children. So, yes, I am special:) The Bible says we are all fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Being creative is just one manifestation of the great uniqueness God has placed in each of us. Since God fearfully and wonderfully made us, I create clothes that are likewise fearfully and wonderfully made. My unique fashion statement is design that fits who you are, being that you are one-of-a-kind. Your body is “fearfully and wonderfully made” and there is no one else like you!

This blog is my forum for sharing scriptural strategies that have guided my life, up to and including the start of JSL 7of7. The one and most profound truth is that Jesus loves me so much the God referes to me and all believers as “Beloved.” John 3:16 says: For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life.  I was reminded of this fact this past Sunday (March 17th) while listening to Marilyn Hickey, who was the guest speaker at my church, Mt Gilead Full Gospel International Ministry. The next scripture that has a lasting meaning for my life is Romans 8:28 ( KJV ) And we know that all things work together for the good to them that love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. So, based on these scriptures, I will be sharing strategies that have “worked together” for my good.
