Ephesians 1:17-19 (KJV)

Character of The Breakthrough Believer

The break-through believer has a mind that is renewed daily by the Word of God.  The Word of God equips us with everything we need to be successful. Wading through difficulties is not pleasant. When trials last for weeks, months or years, we are tempted to be discouraged.  Instead of being discouraged, we should put on the armor of God. The armor of God is an excellent defense. The Word of God allows us to shift our mindset from fear and defeat to victory. Here are three short affirmations that I use to adjust my daily thoughts to the mind of Christ. You can use them too:

Be Determined to Overcome

“I am determined to get my break through.  I am striving beyond all barriers.  I overcome all rejections because Romans 8:28 says God has promised to work all things toward my good.”

Maintain a Teachable Spirit

“When the enemy comes, the word of God is my sword and shield.  My attitude is that I am ready for more.  Lord teach me to always remain teachable and to use knowledge of you to strive for more victories.  Create in me productive foresight.”

Expect God to Move on Your Behalf

“I am always in the state of expectency that God wants to do the miracelous so that He might draw unbelievers to himself throughy my testimony.  God is able to do the impossible through me.  I am not a quitter.  I kinow who I am in Christ.  I am well acquainted with God’s will for my life.  I am going to be what God wants me to be at all cost.  I am persistant and steadfast. I have understanding, and wisdom.”

Be encouraged and stay focused on the provisions of God – not your problems.  Our prayer should always be to remain in the center of God’s will.  When God moves, we should all move. Just like that.
