I moved to Virginia on August 17, 2010. Prior to my transition date, I commuted from New Jersey to Virginia once a month for a year and a month. Remember, my wedding anniversary was 7/11/2009. During this time in my life I was asking God for three things. 1. A place to live 2. Employment, 3. A renter for my condo in New Jersey. The scritputre that I used to direct my faith was 1 Corinthians 15: 58: “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord (New American Standard Bible).” The church home that my wife Marsha and I decided to connect to was Mt. Gilead Full Gospel International Ministry. The Bishop of this debt-free church is Daniel Robertson Jr.
On my commute, I listened to the recorded messages of my Bishop which fuels my spirit to this very day. God is no respecter of persons but he will honor His word and His word will not return to him void: It will accomplish just what it says. Because I am connected to a church that believes in the entire Word of God, that anointing bore fruit and I experienced first hand how the Word of God transformed and changed my life.
My first prayer for a home was delivered in August of 2010. The prayer for employment was answered on November 3o, 2010. The Condo in New Jersey was rented in December 2010. Oh, what an awesome God I serve. What he did for me he will do for you if only you believe and don’t lean on your own understanding. Acknowledge Jesus as the Lord of your life and He will direct your path.
How many times have you started a project and it was not successful? How many times have you put your trust in man or a job and been disappointed? Well, we all have been there. However, when you put your trust in Jesus the Christ he will never let up down. He is the friend that sticks closer than a brother. He specializes in difficult situations. The more difficult the situation the greater the grace that is given to believers to overcome that situation.
Jesus overcome all obstacles, so as believers we too can overcome. When the baffling wind and the storms of life are raging, speak peace to the situation. The one thing that brings peace in challenges is knowing that if God is for you, victory is guaranteed.
At a moment’s notice, a challenging situation can be changed to your advantage. Your deliverance is around the corner. When you experience victory, your faith will begin to grow and you will be able to believe the Word of God. You will go from faith to greater faith as you apply biblical principles to your life. This is the power I use everyday.
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen Hebrews 11:1 (New American Standard Version).
The more you exercise your faith the stronger your spirit man becomes. Faith is tested in difficult situations therefore, don’t become weary in well doing. You will get the victory if you faint not. Don’t give up and don’t give in
Keep reaching and achieving new heights. The excitement is just beginning.
